Terms of Use

1. What Paybio does

Paybio lets you create a simple page where you can share multiple payment methods with your audience. We do not process payments ourselves – your visitors pay you directly through the payment providers you choose (for example: PayPal, Stripe, bank links, etc.).

2. Eligibility

By using Paybio, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal right to use the payment methods and links you share on your Paybio page.
• You will use Paybio in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in your country.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for any activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, you should change your password and contact us as soon as possible.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Paybio to:

• Break any laws or regulations.
• Promote scams, fraud, misleading schemes, or unauthorised financial activities.
• Share content that is hateful, abusive, defamatory, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate.
• Interfere with or overload our infrastructure or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paybio offers a free trial and an optional Pro subscription. Billing is handled securely by Stripe.

• When you subscribe to Pro, you authorise Stripe to charge the subscription fee on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually, depending on the plan shown at checkout).
• Your subscription will continue until you cancel it via the Stripe customer portal or we cancel it.
• Prices and features may change over time. We will try to give reasonable notice of any material changes.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled at our discretion, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.

6. Third-party payment providers

When someone pays you through a method on your Paybio page, that transaction is between you, the payer, and the payment provider. We do not control or guarantee:

• Whether a payment is completed, refunded, or reversed.
• The fees, exchange rates, or policies of the payment provider.
• The availability or legal compliance of the payment method in specific countries.

You are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of any payment providers you use.

7. Intellectual property

The Paybio service, brand, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service as long as you follow these Terms.

You keep the rights to your own content (for example, your name, text and links). By adding content to Paybio, you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the service.

8. Service changes and availability

We may update, pause or discontinue parts of the service from time to time, for example to improve performance, fix bugs or comply with new laws. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we cannot guarantee continuous availability.

9. Disclaimer

Paybio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make any promises that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific needs. You use Paybio at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of Paybio.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Paybio in the previous 3 months, if any.

11. Termination

You can stop using Paybio at any time. You can cancel your Pro subscription via the Stripe customer portal.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law or a third-party provider.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, where allowed by local law.
